The town folks had a fun day every year where there would be all sorts of games for children and adults, it was like a funfair. Everyone with no exception could freely participate in this event. It was also during this funfair that the community took the opportunity to raise funds for a noble cause and this year it was to upgrade the central heater of the community children’s home. The local service provider had volunteered to offer free installation when the new electric heat pump unit was bought. The whole town relied on the same and only whole-home heating company for all their installations and every furnace heater repair. The money that was raised was more than enough for the electric heating system. The remainder of it would be used to buy the children Christmas gifts and books. The heating contractor was very thorough when it came to ensuring that the zone control installation was done correctly so that all the energy-saving tips that they would put in place would pay off. Temperature control with such a system would be individually regulated through a digital thermostat. The heating technician had everything in place including a future furnace/heater tune-up plan. The lounge area was fitted with radiant floor heating. It was such events that brought the town folks together and strengthened the feeling of community among the people. It was also in such funfairs that the old would feel young again and the young could interact freely with one another. Most people knew each other because they had been born there and grew up together. Some had lived all their lives in the town and most of us wished to raise our kids in the same place so that they could truly enjoy and know the true meaning of community living.
