Adapting our Heating and A/C business model in response to COVID

The key to success is adaptability, if you ask me.

This is 1 of the first lessons I was taught as a soldier, in addition to it was 1 of the most pricey lessons I’ve ever heard about business.

It honestly doesn’t matter what you do, you need to have a plan; Since life rarely lets you plan things without ruining them (or is that just me?) you need a plan you can adapt as needed. Have goals, have benchmarks, have keystones, but don’t get too caught up in the little details, let them work themselves out as you go along. This is why I run our Heating and A/C supplier out of a work van, in addition to don’t rent a storefront, but my base of operations is entirely our garage, by our Heating and A/C work van isn’t big enough to hold all of our tools in addition to device at 1 time. That is okay, because it is precious that 1 job will require all of the odd tools, so our heating in addition to cooling supplier stays agile in addition to mobile. The overhead I save on rent, utilities, in addition to several types of insurance, allow me to charge lower prices than our Heating and A/C competitors, as well as offer faster response. In the military I was consistently taught “travel light, fight hard” in addition to that is the attitude I bring to our Heating and A/C business every day. I take only what I need to do any certain Heating and A/C repair as hastily in addition to efficiently as possible, without ever compromising on quality. My fellow Heating and A/C techs are not certainly fond of me, but that honestly isn’t our problem.
