Adding a humidifier to advance comfort and health of the dwelling

This past year, the Summer season was disappointing and the fall weather was frosty, damp and brief.

The Winter weather arrived much earlier than we thought it would.

By mid October, it was completely necessary to get the furnace started. With outside temperature consistently below freezing for multiple straight months, the heating appliance carried a heavy workload. It honestly seemed as if the furnace ran constantly and our utility bills were especially high. I observed that no matter how high I set the temperature control unit, the beach dwelling still felt slightly nippy. I realized that the air in the beach dwelling was far too dry. My whole family was always coughing, sneezing and complaining of terrible headaches. The group of us all had difficulties with chapped lips, dry skin and frizzy hair. My youngest kid suffered from terrible nose bleeds, and static shock was official and aggravating. I did some research and l was able to learn that insufficient humidity levels can be a danger to health and furnishings in your dwelling. The potential for respiratory infection, cold, flu and aggravated symptoms of dust irritations and asthma increases when there’s a lack of moisture. Because dry air pulls moisture out of everything it touches, it can cause a good amount of damage to hardwood floors, antiques, moldings and instruments. Since dry air feels much colder than correctly moisturized air, it encourages higher temperature control component settings. I contacted a local HVAC appliance corporation and asked about whole-dwelling humidifiers. For the size and level of humidity issues, the corporation suggested a steam-style humidifier, which incorporated straight into the air handler of the heating appliance… As the name implies, this type of humidifier converts water to steam and introduces it into the indoor air. Now that every one of us are maintaining proper humidity levels, the beach dwelling feels more comfortable and I’m saving a good amount of money.
