As our kids get bigger, the people I was with and I realized that the people I was with and I are going to need some extra room in our house.
It’s not something that the people I was with and I ever entirely planned on doing, however now I believe that the people I was with and I are going to have to add some extra room whether the people I was with and I want to or not, however not only are our kids getting older and bigger, however their friends are typically here all the time too! All of us are in the middle of adding an additional kitchen by remodeling our garage and turning it into extra living space.
The only problem the people I was with and I have found with this so far is the fact that the garage has never been fitted for ventilation ducts and a heating and cooling system. Since there are no HVAC ducts in the garage, there’s no way to get heating and cooling into the garage. If the people I was with and I don’t fix it so that our existing HVAC plan can be connected to the garage, then the garage will end up being super warm in the Summer and super chilly in the winter. All of us talked to one of our local HVAC companies to find out how much it would cost to run additional HVAC ducts and he said that he thought the people I was with and I might be better off to just install something called a ductless mini break air conditioner. With this style of HVAC unit, you don’t have to have any HVAC ducts at all, however you can still control the temperature in your living area. That sounds love the best bet to me, so I suppose that’s what the people I was with and I are going to end up doing.
