I’ve been babysitting for the same family for as long as I can remember. I started working for them when I was in high school and now that I have gotten older they still allow me to work for them on the weekends when they are going out for a night on the town. I love working for this family and they have really helped me out along the way by giving me a steady job and said he can come. However, the past few weeks I have noticed that the family has not been able to give me payment right as I’m leaving. Normally the family will pay me right away but this is starting to concern me. I also noticed that their heating and cooling system isn’t working anymore. I didn’t wanna bug them about the heating and cooling system but when they were gone I heard the kids complaining about how hot it was in the house. I asked the kids why it was hot and they mentioned that the air-conditioning hadn’t been working for two weeks. I wonder why they fixed her HVAC system especially if their kids are complaining about it. I just wanna make sure this family is OK because they have taken care of me for so long. I wonder if they haven’t been able to pay me because they are trying to save up money to have their HVAC system replaced. It’s very concerning and I might have to have a talk with them.
