Some of the people I hire I swear are incomptent or just reckless.
I’m not sure what it is about people who mow lawns for money, but a lot of them fall into the above two categories.
Not all, I have had a few really great guys who really listened to what I wanted and did exactly that, and sometimes they go the extra mile as well. Now that is good service. What isn’t good service is when a reckless lawn guy completely mows over my freshly potted aster flowers, completely murdering them all and destroying my hard work. Even though I didn’t pay that guy, the damage was already done. Anyways, after that last experience I have been incredibly strict over who does my lawn and garden. My favorite lawn guy, who is responsible and knows what the heck he’s doing, is unfortunately on vacation, so that means I get stuck doing the mowing myself. I absolutely hate mowing, and that’s why I pay other people to do it for me. I hate it mainly because I come inside sweating and then I run my air conditioning to death until I start freezing. Anyways, speaking of HVAC, I have found some HVAC techs can be the same way. Now thankfully, I come across bad HVAC professionals a lot less often, in fact, I would say it’s rare. But I still choose a reliable HVAC corporation to be on the safe side anyways. I’ve already learned from my bad experience with my lawn, I am certainly not going to make the same mistake with my furnace and air conditioner.
