I hate to sound like an old man hollering at kids to stay off the lawn. But, I really do miss feeling like I’m in good hands with people I do business with. So often now, I don’t even do business with another human person. I’m pressing 7 or pound or doing stuff online. Thankfully, my HVAC company is the sort of business that still believes in loyalty, fairness and professionalism. That’s a pretty big threesome right there. So I’m pretty pleased with the way the whole process of replacing the heating and cooling equipment just went. The fact that the HVAC technician gave me such a great heads up was the key. Since forever, we’ve always made sure that the HVAC unit gets the best when it comes to care. That means there is HVAC heating maintenance each fall followed by an air conditioning tune up each spring. In fact, our heating and cooling equipment lasted so long because we made sure that it got all the HVAC maintenance it needed. Last fall, the HVAC technician came out on the regularly scheduled HVAC heating maintenance. But this time, he gave us the heads up we needed. The HVAC professional provided us with the gift of time to prepare when it came to replacing the HVAC unit. He told us that it was time to start that process and we listened. Just having that time allowed us to meet with the HVAC contractor and get the sort of residential HVAC that suited our needs. Since we had the time, we weren’t faced with scrambling to get a new HVAC unit after the old one failed. And that was just so important to us and why we are so thankful for our HVAC company.
