Being the bad cop when it comes to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C use in our house

It wasn’t love I didn’t warn them.

I did and now that I’m the only 1 who can access the manual mode on the smart thermostat is the result for that warning.

I think maybe everyone thought I was just all talk when it comes to the way the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component was being abused. I so wasn’t kidding and I told everyone legitimately plainly and calmly that if I found a door open with the air conditioner cranking, that would be the last time. Seriously, I just wasn’t having it any longer. The home is a nice location to live and the youngsters have just about everything they could want. But what I won’t sit for is obvious disrespect of something so fundamental as our heating and cooling. The youngsters, and our husbandy to some degree, think that current heating and cooling is just a God given right. Well frankly, it’s not and the truth is both of us are lucky to have such high quality heating and air in this house. Still, I’d come home from the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of the office only to find the sliding glass door wide open. It’s nearly a hundred degrees outside, the thermostat is set on 72 and the sliding glass door is open. I wanted to scream although I didn’t. Instead, I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and had them install a smart thermostat that now controls every aspect of the heating and cooling in this house. And I’m the only 1 who has the code to manually change the thermostat setting.
