Cancelling our maintenance contract with the HVAC company

Running a large office wasn’t a piece of cake.

But after many years, I had enough experience to keep everything moving forward. We ran one of the biggest online perfume stores in the world, and our operation consisted of offices and a warehouse where we kept all the inventory. We had servicing companies that dealt with both locations. That meant we could sign a maintenance contract to suit the offices and the warehouse. One day, the Heating and A/C system at the office stopped blowing cold air. It was summer, and this caused the offices to get hot, and added to that was unbearably high humidity. I phoned the A/C servicing corporation to come and take a look at the cooling unit. They informed me an Heating and A/C specialist was on the way to check the system. But, 2 hours later, we were still waiting for the A/C expert to show up. I had to call the aircon maintenance corporation again to ask why there was a delay in service. The customer care representative wasn’t truthful with the reason and kept telling me the HVAC technician would be back soon. Three hours later, I was fed up and decided to get another aircon repairman to come and reclaim the situation. The A/C expert from this company arrived on time and began working on the A/C system. We never heard from the previous one, which meant no one showed up to fix the cooling system. I decided the drop-in maintenance quality and unprofessionalism was too much, so we cancelled our maintenance service with them. It was better to give the Heating and A/C maintenance contract to a corporation we could rely on, from there we never had an issue with bad communication with the aircon maintenance again.
