Can’t get our daughter to sleep in her own bed because she is afraid of the HVAC

When my daughter first said she was scared of some kind of snarling monster in her room, I thought it was cute.

I showed her there were no monsters and I told her to please sleep in her bed.

Regardless of the fact that there was no monster, she still ended up coming to our room to sleep in our bed. My wife kept telling me that she couldn’t keep doing that, but I told her that I already showed our daughter there were no monsters. Then I asked my daughter the next day to show me exactly where this monster was coming from. She pointed to a corner of the room where an HVAC vent happened to be. I asked her if she meant there was a monster in the ductwork, and she shook her head yes. I realized that she might have thought that there was some kind of creature in there everytime the HVAC system clicked on. I had to explain to her that it was just the HVAC system and the air moving through the ductwork. I said that it could sound something like a scary creature, but it definitely was not! I asked her if she felt better and she said yes. I tucked her into bed but sure enough, she ended up coming to our room again. Even though I explained that it was just the HVAC system working, she still was frightened by it. With the rate we were going, our daughter was going to sleep in our bed for the next few years. I don’t know if I should have her see a psychologist or what, but we need to do something about this situation.
