Buying a house in the middle of a pandemic is kind of frightening, but and yet, when the Bank closed, it was too late to back down.
Before both of us started moving all of our belongings into our new house, I truly wanted to give the arena a fantastic cleaning.
We hired a professional cleaning service to scrub down all of the surfaces plus also do a deep cleaning on the carpet. We were just about to start moving when a neighbor asked us if both of us had change the air filter in the a/c. We hadn’t even thought of that. We obtained a HEPA filter to take care of any viruses that might be in the air but when I was changing the filter, I saw that the ductwork was super dirty. We decided to go ahead plus hire air conditioner company to come out plus scrub the ductwork for us. That should take care of any lingering viruses that might be hiding in the ventilation system. I am super blissful both of us did too. It took us about a week to get everything super clean, but now both of us are finally ready to transfer into our new home. I am not upset about it being full of germs now either; Everything has been cleaned: literally, top to bottom, then now both of us just need to figure out how to get all of our stuff moved from one apartment to the other separate from a bunch of strangers touching it. That might mean moving it all ourselves. I am not looking forward to that but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
