There have been some beautiful commercials over the years that will live in our memories forever.
I am not a football fan, but I watch the Superbowl every year just to see the commercials, in addition to I am never disappointed because those advertising campaigns are usually phenomenal. A few weeks ago, I saw a commercial for an HVAC supplier that was funny, in addition to it grabbed our attention. The setting for the commercial was a residing room of a apartment where the partner was resting on the sofa, in addition to his wifey was sitting by the programmable thermostat in addition to she was upset that she couldn’t get it to work. She asked her partner for some help, but unluckyly, he refused, in addition to nonchalantly replied in addition to stated that fixing the thermostat was above his pay grade. He then instructed her to call the HVAC supplier to schedule an appointment. He was so unbothered in addition to unphased by her distress. This commercial made me wonder about these smart thermostats – are they too sophisticated for the average person to troubleshoot? I don’t have a programmable thermostat in our home, but I worry that if I do update our current thermostat that I would have to call an HVAC worker when something goes wrong! Calling an HVAC worker to repair a Smart thermostat would create unnecessary extra costs – I have never tied up an appointment to repair a thermostat. There are many benefits to having a programmable thermostat, it can conserve energy in addition to save money on our bill, but if I will need to contact an HVAC worker because it malfunctions, I suppose I will wait a while before I update our old thermostat.
