Each month our fiance, his brother & sibling, & significant others get-together at a different eating establishment.
It is a good way to keep up with each other’s lives & it serves to get their mom out of the house.
Ever since she was widowed it is harder to get her to participate in anything social. She does, but, like to go out to eat. If all of us take her to appointments all of us regularly schedule them around a meal time so that she is more willing to leave the house. She is not a day person & the only way she will go to an early nurse appointment is to offer to take her to brunch afterward. Sometimes I believe like I am bribing a child to eat their vegetables by tempting them with desert. But, it is worth it. Anyway, this past month was our time to go to brunch. My sibling-in-law study about a current eating establishment that had opened up near the lake that she wanted to try. All of us made reservations like all of us regularly do & asked for tables by the window. Their mom cares about to look at the water & all of us figured it would be a special treat. The weather was not cooperating though because it was windy & cold. When all of us arrived all of us asked if there was a way to change our table location however because all of us are such a sizable group there was no way to do this. The wind was hitting the window & all of us all sat there with our jackets of for the entire meal, i suppose all of us will try that place again during the Summer when all of us believe that it will be more comfortable & all of us can possibly rest outside to eat.
