Do I want radiant heated floors for the lav?

I am debating on adding heated flooring to our bathroom, but i am going to gut the space anyway.

I want to totally rework how everything is laid out. Right now there is a huge closet to store towels, a tiny shower, large sink as well as weirdly shaped toilet. I want to get everything down to the barebones, my method is to have a large shower, small sink area, little toilet as well as a cubby system for towels. I also want brand new tile on the floors as well as shower walls. While I am ripping up the floors, I could put down electric heated mats for radiant floors. It is the best time as well as only occasion I will get to do it, once I substitute our bathroom, I won’t touch it again for possibly our whole life. It is frightening making this large of a decision right now. Once the new tile goes down, it won’t be ripped up, however so do I want heated flooring in the bathroom or not? I have looked at pros as well as cons as well as still can’t decide. On a single hand, if the radiant oil furnace has an issue, it can’t be repaired due to being concealed. I would just lose the flooring earlier than expected… The lifespan on heated flooring is only 15 years too. I would need to buy the mats as well as sit them down myself. It adds another step in our bathroom renovation project. The pros would be stepping onto moderate tile after a shower. I could have toasty feet when I pee in the middle of the evening. Radiant heat doesn’t rise as well as get wasted on the ceiling. It is totally silent in operation. What should I do?
