My child and her guy got engaged, our partner and I decided to throw a big Garden Party to celebrate. The two of us invited 50 of our closest friends and family members. The two of us had more than 100 people show up on the day. The two of us were well prepared for a big crowd. The two of us hired a caterer for the event. The two of us had lots of hors d’oeuvres and plenty of main entrees for all of the guests. The two of us had meatballs, crab cakes, lasagna, fettucini with chicken, shrimp, and a big make your own footlong sub bar. Doing buffet style was the right way to go for this style of gathering. The two of us started the gathering around 6:00 p.m. and we expected people to stay late into the evening hours. It can be entirely frosty out on the cape at this time of the evening, so we made sure to have plenty of stand up gas heating systems available. The two of us rented portable propane gas heating systems from the gathering supply store. These are the same type of propane gas heating systems that you see outside of pricey eating establishments on frosty nights. All of the propane gas heating systems were set up and strategic locations so the entire section was just as moderate as it would be indoors, guests stayed until the early hours of the day. I suppose the gathering was a big success. The two of us did not have any food left over at the end of the night and everyone seemed to have a enjoyable time. I am sure we will have even more fun when we celebrate the day that the kids get married.
