When my brother and I started talking about starting our own business, my brother just wanted to rent the first venue he saw available.
I told him we had to consider everything first.
The business venue had to be in a place that was easily accessible to people in the area and there had to be plenty of parking. One of the most important things I thought about though was that the place had to have excellent heating and cooling. There was no way people were going to come to our business if the place wasn’t comfortable with great temperature control settings and good air quality. The first venue that we looked at he thought was great, but to me it looked like a complete disaster. The place needed a lot of work and the HVAC system definitely needed to be upgraded. We looked at a few different places and my brother kept getting mad at me when I said the places were not good enough. Finally, there was this place that was absolutely wonderful. It was a little bit more costly, but I thought it was worth it because it was in a great location, there was plenty of parking, and I could easily visualize our business exploding at this location. The HVAC system in the building was amazing and the air quality was definitely on point. I learned they had a UV air purification system equipped and they had a quality HVAC system. My brother and I both agreed the business venue was great, and we were able to start everything up in no time!
