Learning how to fix things is not something I learned growing up; my dad wasn’t truly a handy kind of guy, either, so there wasn’t much that I could learn from him when it came to things like that.
I am so proud of myself right now. I was able to figure out what was wrong with our air conditioner and fix it all by myself! This is something that has never happened for me before in my adult life! I have never been able to fix anything on my own. I just don’t think that I am that great at fixing things, or at doing home service types of projects. It’s just not my strong suit, honestly. I am great at lots of other things. For instance, I am really good at watching movies, and at studying books. I’m also talented at eating pizza. I am not usually very good at anything else when it involves any genre of critical thinking, or using tools of some sort. Anyway, last week, the air conditioner tore up in our home; somehow; I was magically able to figure out what the problem was myself. I looked up a video online, and I watched it over and over until it kind of made sense to me. Then I purchased the little space that I needed at the local hardware store and I fixed it! Now, our a/c proposal is now working just unbelievable and I am beyond impressed with myself. Now that I have this new found ability to service things around the house, I might go into business as a handyman after all!
