My gas furnace had been making some really loud noises, however everything you study online says that noises are bad, then i totally freaked out plus expected my gas furnace to be basically dying. I did all the things that I knew how to do. I changed the gas furnace filter, oiled the blower plus cleaned the inside of the gas furnace device, but when that did not stop the noise, I called a Heating, Ventilation & A/C business. I was so concerned that I even paid for after minute emergency heating service. It is the middle of winter, the last thing I wanted was the gas furnace just stopping or refusing to turn on. I needed my heating to be in tip top shape. I paid so much currency to get the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company in right away, but the appointment took the guy 30 minutes. The reason it was so fast is that it was not a large deal, then apparently noises can be worn, loose or busted parts in the gas furnace rattling around, and most of the time though, it is something that is loose that is entirely tightened. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional tightened all the bolts on the gas furnace; He then inspected to make sure the squirrel cage, yup that is the real name, was fastened secure enough. The guy then figured out there was a gap from my ductwork to my gas furnace. He simply patched the gap with what looked like tape. It took him literally several minutes plus then the gas furnace made no more noise. That was it plus what I got for my emergency repair appointment, and next time I hear a noise I will calm down.
