There is no disputing the fact that the Summer weather has arrived.
When I can recognize the sweat starting as I walk to the automobile in my driveway, the heat and humidity are here.
I swear, I’m going to get one of those remote starters so I can have the air conditioning cooling my automobile before I get into it. But the air conditioning in my automobile isn’t entirely the main HVAC cooling issue on my radar this time of year. It’s now time to be disciplined with the air conditioning so those HVAC cooling costs don’t destroy the budget. When both of us first moved to this region, both of us dealt with the heat by throwing more and more HVAC cooling at it as the Summer went along. By the time both of us got to October and the heat began to relent, both of us had rung up a crucial air conditioning bill, from that point on, I have worked to keep that from happening again. It was a bit of a steady effort over the course of 3 or 4 years to get the strategy down that keeps our HVAC cooling costs in check. It all starts with an air conditioning tune-up in the early Spring. This gets the heat pump ready for the big load of Summer while also ensuring top efficiency as well. From there, I just make sure the house is sealed up slim to further the efficiency of the HVAC equipment. But then, it entirely comes down to simply keeping the control component setting in a range that is comfortable however never more than 15 degrees cooler than outside.
