Getting our hands on a new window a/c was easier than I expected

I was amazed that you could find a window a/c so definitely and well within our personal budget

I’m proud of our cabin since it’s the first beach cabin where I’ve been 100% financially independent from our parents. It has been a year since I graduated college, and in the time since I’ve been slowly saving the money to transfer out on our own. Now that day has finally arrived, I guess more self-sufficient than I ever have before. It’s a good feeling knowing that I’ve reached this threshold in our life at last. Still, it’s not without its challenges. I have to stick to a fiercely strict budget, otherwise I’ll run out of money when bills are due. During the first few months of independence, sticking to our budget was a battle. But with time, I started to adjust to our new situation. Thankfully I even started putting aside a small amount of money each month for emergencies. That was a smart method because not long afterward our window a/c in our home quit toiling. Since I didn’t buy this machine and had little experience with heating and cooling, I feared the worst. I started to wonder if it would cost $600 or $730 for a new cooling unit, however I had overquoted the cost of a window a/c. I found one at the local supercenter for just $300 before taxes. I was amazed that you could find a window a/c so definitely and well within our personal budget. The hardest area was installing the new machine, however I spent an fifth on YouTube enjoying tutorials on window a/c upgrade. Once I was finished, I had a brand new a/c installed with ondemand frigid air.
