  • Tech is constantly changing, especially in the HVAC service industry.

The people I was with and I are constantly trying to come up with newer & better ideas to save cash & energy. I am proud to be working for a big heating & cooling supplier that services this region. I have been working for this supplier for the past seven years & I have l received a lot while in that time. When I first started, I was a youngster fresh out of school. I barely knew how to hold a screwdriver, pliers, & Hammer. It took me two more tries to pass the HVAC certification test. I knew all of the information, but I was filled up with anxiety & stress. I hardly remember the first test at all, and during the 4th attempt, I’ve managed to score in the 7th percentile. It looked so good on our applications when I started to apply for HVAC jobs. I had to beginning as an apprentice, & I quickly received an unbelievable deal while in that time. I remember working on some air duct a single afternoon when I was still employed. I was chopping sheet metal with a pair of pliers & I dropped the tools inside of the duct. They fell almost seven feet & I could not reach them. I did not want to tell our coworker that I lost our tools, so I found a new way to fetch our pliers. I used our tape measure, a magnet, a hammer, & our belt. If someone had actually seen me working, they actually would have laughed.
