Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service is not the location for budget cuts

Both of us are lucky to have the sort of life both of us do. Sure, our husbandy and I labor legitimately hard to provide a nice home with relaxing quality heating and air. But there is more to life than stuff. Both of us do our best to try and balance working inside the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of our respective offices with enjoying life. For sure, I don’t want to be that man who finally quits working to then be too worn down to love life. Life is for living now and our husbandy and I do our best to put that in action. However, that’s balanced by the fact that both of us stick to a budget. When the pandemic was raging, both of us had to labor from the air conditioner safety of home instead of at the office. Both of us had to take pay cuts to keep our tasks. That was a bit of a wakeup call and resulted in some serious belt tightening. In fact, what both of us spent on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service plan was legitimately on the cutting block. Our thinking was that both of us had been so consistent with Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service that perhaps both of us could take a year or 2 off and save that money. Both of us toyed with that system for some time. However, since both of us were both working from home that summer, both of us decided to see just how much both of us could save on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling. Both of us sealed up the house, covered up the windows that were getting direct sunlight heating and pushed the thermostat setting higher than ever. All of these actions resulted in us saving a significant amount of money over the entire summer. Enough was saved that both of us were able to pay for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service plan with that money.
