Just appreciate with food, when something is home made it is usually better than stuff that has been processed in a factory, however, when it comes to heating & air conditioner, home made can be nice or bad, and but when the two of us are dealing with heating, home made heating is not only cost saving, it also can be better in general, but a fireplace for instance is a nice example of home made heating for your home, then when you have an authentic fireplace that is considered home made, and you are not using any gas or electric to run the fireplace, it is just natural fire, natural wood & everything is what mother nature made, cutting wood for a fireplace can eventually end up being a task, then especially if you live in a colder area of the country, however or if you are 1 of these people who tend to get forgetful to do things.
Also if you have complications with your health or are just out of shape in general, having a fireplace may not be the best option.
All of the physical work you will have to go through to be able to have a fireplace can be tiring. I know I had a fireplace in the old home I used to live in multiple many years ago. And the whole thing that I hated the most was cutting the wood to location in the fireplace. All together though, i personally chose to go with a central heating & air conditioner program for all of my heating & air conditioner needs.
