How I started a maid service

After a decade of marriage, my husband and I filed for a divorce. When all of the kids went to school, we swiftly realized that the two of us have grown apart. I am much happier and I know that my ex-hubby is enjoying the new freedom as well. I wanted to start a small business so I would have the freedom to make my own schedule. After a decade of my life being a wife and a mother, I thought that was enough experience to start a small maid service. I started advertising the maid service online. I also advertised the maid service on several local county pages. I had a lot of trouble in the beginning, because there are a number of maid services in this area. I had to gain a reputable name and charge lower prices. Fortunately, I was charging a lot less than several of the bigger dealers and that made it easier to attract some new companies. Eventually, I started to learn more and more customers that would frequently use my services. I still have the maid service after 3 years and it is my main source of money. I have two helpful employees that work most of the jobs. They are a dependable mom and child team that tackles the job together. They have their own cleaning gear and they are independent corporations. I pay them a rate for each job I book. If they schedule a cleaning job, they acquire even higher rates. They work fast and follow a strict cleaning inspection that covers all of our services.
