The other tip I will suggest to you, is to know the HVAC system you just bought before it’s installed. Some heating and cooling companies will ask you the brand, make and model if you did not buy it directly from them. This will help in scheduling the HVAC appointment so it goes smoothly and quickly as possible. I can not tell you how many times in my life I didn’t know this information, and my whole day ended up blown from the HVAC tech being at my house all day because of it.
