Living in the south a lot of things are different than what you may know in the north or other areas of the country.
Here in the south, a lot of things are limited compared to the rest of the USA.
That goes for the service industry more than anything. Any company or business that provides a service in these small towns that we live in are most likely the only ones in the area. For instance our local HVAC repair company is the only HVAC repair company around for the town i’m in. This actually will make it hard to get HVAC repair service sometimes if everyone’s central heating and air conditioning systems happen to start breaking down at the same time. This actually happens a lot in the Summer months here. Heating and air conditioning repair that time of year is a really busy business. It seems that every day someone has their central heating and air conditioning system breaking down on them. This makes the heating and air conditioning repair companies a lot of money too. Because of the limited choice of HVAC repair services, they charge more than the average heating and air conditioning repair companies in the more populated parts of the country. I am pretty lucky in the fact that I have a fully working central heating and air conditioning system because it’s pretty new. I just bought my HVAC unit last year. Prior to this, I too had HVAC repairs almost every single Summer at least one time. Living here in the south is nice, but the lack of HVAC repair is a bummer.
