I usually prefer sleeping in a rather frigid room and so I try to keep the a/c equipment turned way down at night.
I have always been that way, even back when I was a young kid… My mom tells stories about the way I used to beg her to turn the thermostat down before I would get tucked in for the night. I’m still the same way even now, however these days I’m in charge of my own thermostat settings. I have some very costly cooling bills during the hot season, though. I try to save currency on our air conditioning bills when I can, though. One of the ways that I try to save currency is by making sure that I always get our HVAC equipment maintained and worked on by a reputable heating and cooling company. A little while ago, just before our a/c equipment service appointment, I started noticing something rather bizarre in our bedroom. I wasn’t exactly whining about it, since it was a majorly frigid spot right in our bedroom. Because I enjoy sleeping in the cold, I wasn’t even angry about the chilly spot in the bedroom however I knew that it meant there was something going on with our HVAC system. I figured that there was some kind of a concern with the HVAC duct sealing somewhere near the bedroom. I was pretty glad that I already had an a/c equipment appointment lined up. I’m planning to get the HVAC professional’s opinion on the frigid spot and just go from there. Hopefully he will be able to service it the same afternoon.
