There have been people residing on this continent for hundreds of years, but somehow they managed to bear the incredible heat plus humidity without using technology prefer an air conditioning.
There are still a lot of ways to stay cool, but my teenagers can’t believe of anything.
Io took the air conditioning out of the room last month, when they decided to break the garage window! Until they earn enough money to pay for the garage window, they can’t have air conditioning. It seems severe to some people, plus some of my friends plus fellow parents believe I’m crazy. Still, I told my teenagers a hundred times to stop playing baseball in the back street parking lot. There is only about more than nine feet of room between the cars, the driveway, garage, plus the neighbors house! When the teenagers were lake beach house that day, they could have went across the street to the park. Instead, they decided to play ball in the street, then now the garage window is broken plus my hubby plus I are out $170 to repair it. My teenagers only have $57 between them, plus I told them that they have to earn money to pay the rest of the bill. Until they labor out a way to pay the money, I have the kitchen air conditioning in my kitchen. A lot of people believe this is crazy, but I’m not opposed to some uncommon forms of punishment… Believe me, my teenagers are much more uneasy about the air conditioning then any other “normal” punishment the many of us could have given them.
