I love our Grandma, but he has absolutely no system how to use his HVAC units respectfully, but due to this, I entirely don’t appreciate staying at our Grandmother’s condo overnight.
At our house, I will admit that I am spoiled.
I have a personal air conditioner in our room that keeps the temperature of our room at the perfect temperature. During the winter, I also have a space heating system that I can adjust at any time if the gas furnace is not as comfortable as I appreciate it. Typically, I don’t need to use the space heating system nearly as much as I appreciate to use our window air conditioner… My favorite way to sleep is to turn the air conditioner on to the highest setting and grab a ton of blankets to keep myself and others warm. During the winter, I usually assume too warm because of the gas furnace, and I appreciate to open our Winter to let some of the cool air into the room. However, our Grandmother doesn’t have the same feeling about HVAC units that I do. My Grandma doesn’t even own an air conditioner. It would seem more logical if he sat outside all day in the shade, but instead, he relaxes inside on the couch with no air conditioner. At night, the condo is blazing hot. I usually can’t sleep without heavy blankets, but without the air conditioner, I am forced to try to sleep without heavy blankets. During the winter, he turns the gas furnace on to a setting even hotter than our own house, but the windows don’t open in our room. I absolutely do not like going to our Grandma’s house. Maybe I should purchase a portable air conditioner.
