I like our Grandma, however she has actually no idea how to use her Heating & A/C units respectfully, and due to this, I absolutely don’t like staying at our Grandma’s cabin overnight. At our house, I will confess that I am spoiled. I have a personal cooling system in our room that keeps the temperature of our room at the perfect temperature. During the winter, I also have a space heating system that I can adjust at any time if the oil furnace is not as comfortable as I like it. Typically, I don’t need to use the space heating system nearly as much as I like to use our window cooling system; My preferred way to sleep is to turn the cooling system on to the highest setting & grab a ton of blankets to keep me warm. During the winter, I usually think too warm because of the oil furnace, & I like to open our Winter to let some of the cool air into the room. However, our Grandma doesn’t have the same feeling about Heating & A/C units that I do. My Grandma doesn’t even own an cooling system. It would seem more logical if she sat outside all day in the shade, however instead, she relaxes inside on the couch with no cooling system. At night, the cabin is blazing hot. I usually can’t sleep without heavy blankets, however without the cooling system, I am forced to try to sleep without heavy blankets. During the winter, she turns the oil furnace on to a setting even hotter than our own house, however the windows don’t open in our room. I actually dislike going to our Grandma’s house. Maybe I should purchase a portable cooling system.
