I have been spending all of my summer vacations with my family. Although spending time with extended family may seem strange to some people, I have always gotten along well with everyone in my family, including the relatives I don’t see often. Because of this, I prefer to travel to see them each year. The fact that I can see all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins again makes them happy to see me. Every year, I look forward to this. On the other hand, this year has been somewhat unique. Well, my trips up there are always wonderful, and lately, I’ve been even more eager to return. It’s no secret that I’ve been eager to return to my friendlier state of residence. Since it has been so hot here, it has been difficult for me to enjoy engaging in any activities with my family. I’m not exactly sure what the weather situation is. In fact, it’s been so hot outside that I’ve been forced to stay in their house to try and stay cool. There were others besides me as well. Due to how hot it was outside, my cousins also didn’t want to go outside. Since we always enjoyed doing things together, it was exhausting, but the sun was also cooking everything alive. I have to admit that I’m incredibly grateful for my excellent a/c because, without it, I honestly don’t know how I would survive this heat. I still value the time I get to spend with my family and create new memories with them each year, despite the oppressive heat. Even if it causes us some discomfort, I think it’s important to make the effort to stay in touch with our loved ones.
