They ordered the wrong HVAC duct for our new house and so now we are going to have even more of a delay than we did before.
The two of us were already having problems with the house project because things kept getting delayed over and over again.
It’s been absolutely stressful and annoying throughout this entire process, that’s for sure. I don’t know why we ever decided to build a house to begin with, but at this point, I wish that we had just bought one that was already built. At least that way, we would not have to worry about all of these delays; Yesterday, our HVAC supplier called us up and said that he had accidentally ordered the wrong duct job for the house. When he told me that, I thought I was going to cry! My husband got super mad when he found out about the ductwork because he said that the HVAC supplier had been making one mistake after another. However, now it’s just about too late to fire the guy and start over. I don’t think that we would be able to find a new HVAC supplier this late in the game anyway. It’s just super frustrating, since we want to get moved into the house right away. Thanksgiving is this week, and it would have been nice to be able to live in our house before the holidays. It looks like that’s not going to happen, though. The two of us can’t exactly move in when we don’t have any air HVAC duct or heating and cooling system. I will be so glad when we are done.
