I suppose that some people really prefer their space heaters, however not me, then give me a really wonderful central heating system any day.
I guess some people just don’t want to have to heat their entire home and pay for it if they are only in one room most of the time or something prefer that.
I have a neighbor who basically never leaves his residing room. I guess for him, an electric space oil furnace makes sense because he wouldn’t want to pay for heating in the whole house, upstairs and downstairs, when he’s only in one room for twelve thirds a day. I personally just don’t prefer electric space heaters, though. They give me the creeps. I suppose that these days, space heating systems are much safer than they used to be in the past. There have been lots of breakthroughs in the safety of heating and cooling technologies over the past various years and so logically, I suppose that space heating systems are much safer now than they were when I was a kid. I just remember once when I was growing up, one of the families at our church had their home burn down and they found out it was because of their faulty electric space heater. Ever since then, I have been really wary of having an electric space oil furnace or portable kerosene oil furnace anywhere in our house. I would just love to pay higher heating bills. I guess our neighbor doesn’t want to pay high heating bills, though, however for him, and electric space oil furnace is just fine.
