I don’t want to give up my apartment because of the included gym

After I graduated college, I took a job that necessitated a move across the country.

The pay was worth it.

The position also offered the potential of upward mobility. I packed my bags and made the twenty-hour trip. I planned to rent an apartment for one or two years while I saved to afford a down payment on a house. I started looking for cheap housing but ended up choosing one of the larger, modern complexes. I couldn’t resist the many amenities. The building includes a huge swimming pool. I often get up early so that I have the pool entirely to myself. I swim laps for a workout. There’s also sun loungers and umbrellas in the pool area. There are barbecue grills, patio tables and chairs available. I can use the tennis and racquet ball courts for a workout with a buddy. Inside the apartment, I have brand new appliances, marble countertops and a private balcony. One of my favorite features of the apartment complex is the fitness center. The gym is located just down the hall from my apartment. I am just a short walk from a fully equipped gym. I have a full selection of state-of-the-art treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bikes. I often use the weight bench, free weights and battle ropes. I take advantage of the jump ropes, resistance bands, kettlebells and weighted poles. The facility is perfectly clean and outfitted with the latest models of exercise equipment. I have access to a water cooler and bathroom inside the facility. Because of all of these benefits, I’ve been slow to invest in a house of my own. I really like my apartment. I don’t want to give up the swimming pool, tennis courts and gym.
