The air bnb my wifey and I went to recently was pretty nice overall… Honestly, there was only a single issue, however it wasn’t something that bothered me too much, however they only had a single central Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan in the place.
- This meant that nobody had access to the temperature control settings except for the owners of the place, and aside from that inconvenience, the place was like heaven on earth, it was good because there was a fireplace in all the rooms.
These were gas fireplaces so you didn’t have to worry about piling wood in there or having a fire in the building. The fireplace was severely relaxing, however if it became too hot, you would have to turn it off and open the window for some cool air. I ended up talking to the owner about our stay and I told them how I felt about the lack of Heating, Ventilation & A/C zone control. I explained to the owner that they could have an Heating, Ventilation & A/C zone control replace so everybody would have their own individual control units and customized temperature control settings. I also said they could replace to a ductless mini split plan with many zones, and that would lower the utility bills because these systems are severely energy efficient. The owner of the air bnb thanked me for giving him this information and she said she definitely would look into it. I bet the next time both of us come back, there will be a ductless mini split plan in the place. The people I was with and I don’t do this entirely often though, so it would entirely be another few years before both of us come back to this same air bnb.
