My entire life I have had to be resourceful. I didn’t grow up in a family where every one of us had a lot of cash to back up our personal goals or individual comforts. Instead, every one of us had to learn how to suck it up plus power through a lot of taxing situations. If there was something that you needed to solve, you weren’t going to do it by calling a professional who would charge you an arm plus a leg for their expertise. Instead, you were going to have to do some research plus determine a viable solution for next to no cash. I will admit, it was often really taxing living under these circumstances. However, I have consistently figured out a way to get by without losing our cool. This was especially the case when I moved into our first apartment plus realized that there were no indoor air handling devices. The outdated building had zero central heating plus cooling control available to the renters who lived there. Instead, the property owner encouraged us to use current space furnaces plus AC window units to survive the drastic seasons. Of course, I couldn’t afford to purchase our own air conditioning idea at the time. I tried to find a used AC window equipment for various months but eventually I gave up plus came up with alternative solutions to our air handling problem. I realized that I could create our own air conditioning system, of sorts. If I gathered enough ice cubes I could set them in front of our kneeling fan plus drape a wet cloth over both items. The fan would circulate air over the ice plus through the cold towel, effectively laboring appreciate an air conditioning unit, however at least, that has what I told myself in order to survive those more than two miserably hot summers.
