As I have been getting older, it seems that my internal temperature control has been changing dramatically.
- I used to love using the air conditioning in my home all the time.
I would blast the A/C like nothing else, but these days that has changed. Now I always feel as though I am freezing all the time. Even during the scorching hot days in the summer, I feel absolutely great! Sometimes I feel chilly still and need to have the heating system on during the hot weather which my family members think is totally absurd. It’s strange to me too, but at least I am saving a ton of money without using the A/C nearly as much as I used to. My grandson did the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, he paid for the installation of radiant heated floors in my home. I know this was very costly, but he just said to remember him when I was writing up my will. He was just joking, but surely he deserves to have something nice after I pass away from this world. Now that I have radiant heated floors, everything has changed. I feel so much more comfortable with that constant heating radiating from the floors. I find that when my feet are nice and warm, my whole body feels so much warmer and more comfortable. The air quality is unaffected by the system of ductwork since the heating isn’t blowing around. Also, the heating is totally silent and I am not bothered by crazy noises coming from the HVAC system. I love these radiant heated floors!
