Tuesday is one of the longest afternoons of the week, because I have to work a 12-hour shift.
I work 8 hours on the rest of the afternoons of the week, but on Tuesday I have to come in at 7:00 in the afternoon plus I don’t get to leave until 7:00 at night. There are only two mechanical engineers that work on Tuesdays plus that means that my pal and I have to be there to relieve each other. I am not allowed to leave until the guy gets there. If he calls plus says that he cannot come, I have to find someone to replace the guy plus there particularly isn’tanyone so I have to stay at the factory. Most of the time my task is pretty boring. I stand in an office plus wait for someone to call me with a problem. My buddy and I have industrial ventilation systems in the factory plus my pal and I also have three large gas boilers. The concerns with the ventilation systems plus the gas boilers are things that I am responsible for handling. Every once in a while I have a problem that stumps me plus I have to call a commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C business nearby. On Tuesday I got a 2-hour dinner because my pal and I were waiting for the commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C business nearby to come plus help with a boiler problem. I had a big dinner packed plus I got to stand in the air conditioned office plus eat my dinner without worrying about leaving. I watched a couple of episodes of my favorite cable show on my PC. I still got paid too.
