I thought that my heaters were broken, but it was just my thermostat.
I cannot tell you just how glad that I was that the problem was only my thermostat.
I was definitely not ready to deal with a broken furnace. Things have not been going well for us financially. Due to the pandemic, our company has been laying off a ton of people, and we didn’t know how we were going to survive. I found another job, but since I was out of work for a few weeks, things were really tight financially. During all of this, my car broke down, and I had to pay for a major repair. If anything major happened after this, I knew that there was no way that we were going to be able to afford it. That is when my furnace stopped working. I will admit that I was freaking out when my furnace stopped working. A furnace is not something that you can easily live without, and I knew that I couldn’t fix it. I had no idea what I was going to do. Obviously, when my furnace broke down at this precise time, I figured that there was an expensive problem. However, I found out that I was mistaken. I had a friend check it out before I called the HVAC technician, and I am very glad that I did. My friend discovered that it was just a furnace. I might not have been able to afford to call the HVAC technician, but I could definitely afford to buy a cheap thermostat. Hopefully, all of this stuff will end so that I don’t have to be worried about my furnace anymore.
