Well, I believe I should say that I felt pretty smart about it until I found out that I had voided the warranty by doing the heating service myself! Apparently, you aren’t allowed to do any sort of repairs at all on our particular furnace unless you are a certified Heating and Air Conditioning worker, which I am not
I upgraded a burned out switch on our gas furnace myself. I mean, I had the switch left over from a contractor job that I had done a few months ago plus I decided that I would save myself the trouble of calling to make an appointment with the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier. I mean, I’m pretty handy around the cabin most of the time plus so I thought I would just save myself some time plus money by doing the furnace service myself. I mean, I always find it pretty frustrating whenever I have to wait around for a repairman to come to our house, whether it’s an Heating and Air Conditioning worker, a plumber, or an electrician. I suppose that our time is super fancy, plus so I don’t want to have to waste it laying around waiting on other people to come plus do something that I could honestly well be doing myself, and anyway, I upgraded the burned out switch myself with no problem at all. It did not even legitimately take me all that long, plus I ended up feeling pretty smart about the whole thing.
