I wanted to know what they are thinking

We live out on a ranch in the western part of a country. It’s one of those big ranches and we don’t own it on our own. There are actually fourteen different owners of the ranch and so whenever we need to make an important decision about running the ranch, we call a big meeting of all of us. Recently we’ve decided that we’re going to have to install new HVAC units in all of our ranch buildings. Now, I don’t know what you know about the size of buildings on ranches, but they are big. Actually, they are huge. And so we need commercial size heating and cooling systems in most of our buildings. As you can probably imagine, the cost of commercial heating and cooling systems is really high. I actually nearly had a panic attack when we had the commercial HVAC company come out to the ranch to give us an estimate on the new heating and cooling systems we are thinking of installing. The prices on the heating and cooling units are astronomical. We are going to have to sell a heck of a lot of steers to pay for new HVAC systems for this place, believe me. I don’t even know if it’s worth it, to tell you the truth. The other owners really want to go ahead and pull the trigger and sign the HVAC contract, but I’m still concerned about it. I just don’t want to put that much money into heating and cooling for cattle. They live outside most of the year, so I don’t really see the point.
