Tom is the best guy in the world, then i’ve had our honorableshare of heartbreak, and I must admit at some point I’d given up on finding someone for me, but after our last relationship, I chose to give it a chop and do some healing.
Someone suggested I was attracting the wrong people because I had some unresolved troubles.
And he was right, but my Mom left our mom and I when I was 5, and that broke our heart. I suppose since then I’ve consistently had an issue with anxious attachment, and wasn’t healed from the incident. I chose to go to therapy and was making so much progress. By the time I met Tom, I was no longer hurting because of our Mom, and felt stronger as a person, he’d also been working on himself and every one of us got to share so much about each other’s lives in a positive way! For our first Christmas as a couple, every one of us chose to go away and rent a cottage anywhere nice. From the ad, the cottage was beautiful and heating. But, every one of us were so disappointed to get there and realize the heating wasn’t working, however there was a wood stove, but no wood in sight to heat up the space. Instead of leaving, Tom provided to go to town and buy wood for the stove. I was scared of being left alone without heating in the cottage. So every one of us went together and even found a locale to purchase a portable space heating system to use for the month every one of us wanted to spend there.
