I was so excited to finally get my furnace serviced last month, but I did not expect to get stolen from.
My husband and I have lived in the same town for over thirty years, and we have gotten to know almost everyone here. It is a small town of about a thousand people, and we truly feel like we have a family here. Because our town is so small and everyone knows everyone, the HVAC company here is run by friends and family. My husband and I have used the same company for years and years. We had always been pleased with them until this last time. We had two technicians over at our house last month servicing our furnace, and one of them stole almost five hundred dollars worth of jewelry from my office downstairs. Neither of the HVAC technicians would admit to fault, so they were both fired. The company gave us cash for what was lost, and they were very apologetic. We did not sue them or anything like that. My husband knows the owner of the HVAC company, and he knows that he is a nice guy who will do right to his customers. We are glad that those two technicians were fired, and we hope nothing like this will happen again. We truly like that HVAC company; they do great work, and they have always treated us well. Even this time when we were stolen from, they made sure to make things right and even offered free services the next time that we need them.
