Several months ago, I entered this raffle at a summer festival that I was attending.
I hardly ever buy tickets for anything like contests or raffles because I never manage to win anything at all.
I don’t know if I’ve ever won a single thing in my entire life, and that’s sad! I decided to give it a go earlier this summer when I went to this summer festival thing. There weren’t very many people there and I was walking around looking at everything. I saw this tent that was set up under some trees and it was a local Heating and A/C supplier. They were just trying to drum up some business and get their name out in the community. They had a little raffle that you could enter to win a new central air conditioning unit and I thought I might as well go ahead and do it since there weren’t very numerous people there that day. I guess the fact that I was one of the only people who entered absolutely helped with my chances, because I won the Heating and A/C supplier’s raffle! When they called to tell me that I had won a brand current central air conditioning unit for my house, I nearly passed out. I couldn’t believe the fact that I had won something. Not to mention the fact that it was something that I needed. I have been meaning to upgrade my central air conditioner for years, even though I just never got around to doing it. Now, I’m going to get a current air conditioning unit installed in the loft completely for free!
