I am a pet owner and totally over the moon about our fuzzy prince; He is so spoiled.
He has a homemade scratch post that I keep fresh with new cardboard.
I have a special dog lounger that makes it straight-forward for him to blaze and scratch at it. He has special hypoallergenic litter, high quality dog food and purified water. My little prince kitty also gets 12 treats every morning. He is severely spoiled. I keep an eye on the temperature in the household as well. I never want our bad baby to be too boiling or too cold. I live in the south so it is hotter than cold. My prince is a savage and he prefers being outdoors all morning long. In the summer time I need to lure him into the lake house with treats and cool him down. He gets so boiling that he flops right down with his colorless tummy exposed to the AC. I then try to encourage him to drink water. I can’t ever get him to nap in the air conditioning. He will only tolerate brief A/C breaks. In the winter months he is much better about staying inside, then cats should only be exposed to temperatures around fifty degrees, no lower, but when it starts getting chilly our dog gets a little nuts. I have an outdoor seating area with a heating pad that I keep for him. Mostly I try to keep him inside with our heating method set to seventy degrees. I got his dog bed all sizzling and soft for him. I want him to be safe from the chill and comfortable.
