I’m grateful for the AC in my car

You know, I’ve made some pretty big adjustments in the past few months or so.

I’m extremely proud of myself for being so flexible with life, and it hasn’t been self-explanatory by any means. I recognize however, I’ve made good strides in my personal evolution as times have severely changed. To start, I moved to a completely different city. Next, I started a different job in a different industry. Lastly, I’ve conquered the greatest inconvenience of all, the afternoon traffic. Now that I live in the city, there is no way to avoid the continual stop & go motion of a few thousand humans trying to drive on the same roadways at the same times each day. It has been super annoying, until I recently realized how superior it was to my only alternative. Sure, it’s super aggravating to be stuck in my car, however it would be a lot worse to have to walk to my condo in the overwhelming heat & humidity! When I’m stuck in traffic & see all the dreadful folks dripping with sweat in the intense sun & unending humidity, I feel less pity for myself. I’ve realized that as long as I can sit in the cool air, where I can literally cool my body down as much as needed, then I’m grateful. My vehicle isn’t anything special, however it does have AC that works, but this means I’m capable of making the car’s air temperature just about as cool & dry as I need. I might be stuck in traffic, watching the afternoon slip away, however at least I’m not basking in the hot and humid sunshine.
