Living down south has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl as well as both of us took a vacation there.
Just everything about it seemed to be just so great.
I enjoyed their food, the diverse culture, as well as especially the weather. The sun seemed to shine all the time there. And, I just wasn’t truly fond of residing in a locale where the heating and air conditioning furnace was running for much of the year. The south seemed to me to be the locale where I could live out my real dreams. But reality hit as well as it took me 40 years to realize my sole dream of residing in the south. Having spent my whole adult life dealing with snow as well as ice for month after month as well as winter season after winter season, getting anywhere hot with nice heating and air conditioning is what it has all been about. Now that my loving husband as well as I have retired, both of us decided that moving south would be the perfect way to begin the next chapter in our lives. The first thing I did as both of us were packing up our house was to provide the thrift store with almost every single stitch of our winter season clothing. It is not something that I will miss. The lake house we’re going to has a sunroom that has heating and air conditioning provided by a ductless heating and also cooling unit. This way I can soak up all that sun even in the warm season time. Having the sunroom independently heating and air conditioning controlled will also allow us to keep the lake house at a more constant temperature. I’m so excited to be able to finally settle down in a locale where the winter season just can’t push me around any longer.
