I may be in the minority here, but I absolutely hate Summer! I liked it when I was a kid of course because it meant no school for 3 months.
- But as an adult I absolutely can not stand it! I hate hot weather, and I really hate the fact that where I live gets to be up to one hundred and ten degrees outside.
Heat makes me feel lousy all the time, and it gets to me badly. Also, because I have to run my central air conditioning system all the time in the Summer because of this, it causes very high electric bills. There is just no way around this. I have tried running portable air conditioning systems to try to save money and they are just not powerful enough to go against the really awful heat that is in the area in which I live in! If I could run portable air conditioning systems and have success with them, I am sure I could save a lot of money on my electric bills like other people do this time of the year in other places in the world. If it would only just be Fall all year round I would be very happy. That is the perfect temperature for me. Not too hot, not too cold, and everything is just right. Although I would take Winter any day over Summer, even though it sometimes gets really cold and I have to crank the central heating system. It still is not even half as bad as dealing with the super hot heat I have in this area! I wish Summer would just go!
