I can divulge right now that I have not ever grown up in a particularly functional family or home environment.
I feel care about everyone tries to pretend that their family unit is delighted and healthy…
But I am comfortable being upfront and saying that I come from a dysfunctional home. The people I was with and I have a lot of challenges getting along with each other thanks to our individual mental health complications and respective personality flaws. The people I was with and I cannot get along for more than a few mornings without somebody crying. Generally, it’s me. This is why I am delighted anytime the two of us have some kind of a solution that neutralizes the necessity for working together. Even setting a central control unit program is too much to ask for my family. When the two of us have one indoor air temperature control method the two of us wind up bickering incessantly over the indoor air program. Half of the family likes it legitimately warm and the other half likes it legitimately cold. Neither one of us winds up being delighted when the two of us attempt to compromise on some middle temperature ground. This is why I was so gleeful when the two of us stayed in a holiday home that had individual control units in each room. Finally, there was no pressure for everybody to come together and make compromises on the indoor air temperature. Everyone could go to their own separate family room, set their own separate indoor air temperature control, and care about their own separate Heating plus Air Conditioning settings. I have to say, this zone controlled control unit setup led to the most functional family holiday we have ever had.
