Simply building a cabin from the ground up lived up to all the horrible stories I have heard over the many years. It was not something that I would do again. But, it feels enjoyable now that it’s over and all of us are enjoying the heating and air conditioning comfort of our up-to-date house. The thing is, I knew I was in for a lot of effort and energy, I just didn’t realize how all consuming building a cabin can be. The people I was with and I went with a general company for the structure but the subcontracting all of us did ourselves. The people I was with and I didn’t want to have our only custom cabin to be done by people that all of us hadn’t interviewed or shared our vision for the house. This led to a lot of wasted time spent meeting with different heating and cooling companies to find the ideal candidates. The people I live with and I did pretty enjoyable work I think. I know for sure that the heating and air conditioning company was the best of the bunch. It was so straight-forward to pick him from the people all of us spoke with. The heating and air conditioning company just had it all together and was so completely organized and professional. Once he was on the jobsite doing his work, I didn’t even have to think about anything with the heating and air conditioning. He would come to us with possibilities and then carry out our wishes as though they were actually his own. The heating and also air conditioning replacement went flawlessly and all of us were ecstatic with our end choices. Frankly, if all the heating and cooling companies had been even half as professional the chosen heating and air conditioning company was, the whole project would have been far easier for us.
